Intro to Computer Science
& WEB DEVELOPMENT
Code 1.0 is an introduction to computer programming that is approachable for those who have no experience while still posing a challenge for those with some previous programming experience.
The course introduces basic computer programming topics including logic, flow control, functions, and data structures. It also includes a broad survey of Computer Science topics such as algorithms, computational complexity, and software engineering with just enough information to help you be conversational in these topics. Combined with a challenging set of programming exercises, this course will help you learn to think algorithmically while building your programming skills.
A significant portion of this course is based on Harvard’s CS50 curriculum, and students who successfully complete the assigned problems are eligible for a Harvard certificate of completion.
