ADMISSION ASSESSMENT
All applicants are required to complete the Admission Assessment. The assessment is not a technology test and does not require previous IT experience. It measures foundational reading and math skills and helps establish a baseline for success in Tech901's certification-focused training programs.
Wonderlic
As part of the admissions process, Tech901 uses the Wonderlic Assessment, a nationally recognized evaluation administered by a third-party provider. The assessment helps establish a baseline understanding of a student's current reading and math skills, which are important for success in certification-focused technology training.

The assessment is not an IT knowledge test. Applicants are not expected to have prior technology experience or certifications before taking the evaluation. Instead, the assessment measures foundational skills such as reading comprehension, critical thinking, and basic mathematical reasoning that are commonly required when studying technical concepts, certification materials, and industry documentation.

Tech901 uses the results to help ensure students are prepared for the pace and rigor of certification-based training. Establishing a baseline allows us to place students on a pathway that supports their success while maintaining the standards required by our funding partners and accrediting agencies.

The Wonderlic Assessment consists of separate verbal and math sections and is typically completed online. Applicants who do not meet the minimum required score on their first attempt may have an opportunity to retest according to Tech901 admissions policies.

Our goal is not to create barriers to enrollment. The admissions evaluation helps identify readiness for training and supports Tech901's commitment to helping students successfully complete their coursework, earn certifications, and continue advancing along their chosen technology pathway.
Practice Test
